ive read about people cutting the green wire.whats the wire for,were is it located,and what does it do if u cut it.

It is a wire coming out of your CDI. If you cut it, it's equivalent to buying an aftermarket CDI. It gives you an extra 1000 revs.

Remove your hood, you'll see three plug connections its in the plug on the left[throttle side]

ok, heres another question. would you reccomend it for a stock engine? would it rev too high for a stocker?

im pretty sure you would not get anymore power out of a stock motor because it is making the most power where it is limited at from the factory.

im assuming the higher rpms would just put more stress on the engine without gaining anything out of it. Just leave it and do other stuff.

CUT IT!! I'ts not gonna hurt nothin and you won't hit the limiter as quick. If you have a cam you have to cut it or you'll be on the limiter too soon.

cutting the green wire does add the 1000rpms but it also changes the ignition timing curve.........
