I was the same after I added up all the receipts that I had for my YFZ before I sold it .

I had approx $5000 Canadian invested into it in parts . First thing that came to mind was " You idiot ... you could have bought a truck with that money ... but no you're still driving a crappy Sunfire !!!" :macho

i have allready started modding my 2006 450er and i figure before i get through with it i will probably have spent $1,000-3,000 range but i might end up spending more allready got about a thousand into it and havent even started so before 2007 is over i will have spent alot on it cause i am racing alot of gncc's in 2008 hopefully

I sold my quad.. But last year, I invested about 5,000 into my quad.

I picked the 5001-8000. I spent about 4 grand give or take to build it. Then I have new 500 dollar plastic in the mail, and between gas, and little things that I've bought I have to be close to 5 k.

well i bought the quad 2 years ago for $2500 so that dont count, but i work at a shop and just looked up what i spent in parts, over $1500 in 11 months i have worked here. and that is parts at dealer cost too, so retail about $2500+ in parts, but i chose $1001-3000 a year. but i just ordered mosr parts and will end up dropping another grand or so in it before the year is over, and saddly my quad still aint half as nice as alot of the ones on here.

aint that the truth:p

i chose low, because after the initial purchase of the quad and the aftermarket parts, maitenance is cheap. replacement parts are not needed often either.

I spend about 500-1000 on my quad a year. thank god my dad doesnt make me pay for gas or else it would be 1000-1700!
