Alright , so it's a Friday night of a long weekend ... well atleast it's a long weekend up here for Canada Day .... what's everyone up to ??

I'm sitting here on the computer , surfing this website , drinking a Mike's Hard Lemonade cuz I'm too lazy to go outside and get a Corona out of the beer fridge . My girlfriend is sound asleep and the dog is sleeping and dreaming about something ... his paws and tongue are going a mile a minute .

I'm sitting here thinking about how my buddy's wedding is going to go tomorrow . He's 22 and getting married to some whacked out broad . She's the kind of broad that is moody as hell and I'm suspecting that tomorrow she's going to snap out on someone or either say NO when asked if she takes him to be her husband . Maybe I should bring my video camera and catch it all on tape . :blah:

So ya other than that , I'm probably going to have a few of these Mike's Hard that the girlfriend bought tonight , then hit the sack . Gotta get up early to cut the grass and clean the car , then get ready for the wedding at 2pm ... reception and dinner at 6:30 then party till 3 or 4am and walk home . The hall is just down the street so tomorrow night both me and the GF can drink and get pretty tipsy . Sunday will be recovery day and then gotta go watch the gift opening ... YAY !!! No plans for Monday as of yet ... but I know my mom and adad are comming into town tomorrow afternoon sometime and will be spending a couple days here .

So what's everyone else up to ??

When she left my place she was walking funny . ;) All jokes aside , I hope you find out what's going on .

Side note , after the first few Mike's Hard , they go down a little smoother . Early dinner and 7% alcohol make for a nice little buzz .:D

Pappy , any word on the YFZ you got sitting in the shop ?? For sale ?? How much?? And what's being done ??

Not sure, I will chat with Rick as the project progresses. I would think as it sits $6900. Once rebuilt, easily $8500 to $9k. It is pretty much loaded with aftermarket parts, and a fresh engine from Laz.

I have a 2006 sitting here for a build...you can have it your way:devil:

lol, you have ghosts too:ermm:

i had two instances last night that weirded me out.

1, i opened the big oven door after a batch was done and when i walked back 1 part, the heaviest part, was swaying like someone pushed it. never seen that before.

2nd....and i dont take this lightly. Jody Crums family sent me a picture of him with a small note on it. I moved it last night and there is now a tear coming from his right eye. I asked everyone here if it was there before and they all said no. im usually not one to buy into this kind of stuff but i swear on both my kids lives that is what is there now. now it could be that a small bit of water got on the pic, but perfectly in the shape of a porpotioned tear and in a perfect tear shape. ill take it as a good sign a friend is near!

Thats pretty freaky ... but then again , like you said , it's kind of reassuring that a friend of yours is near .

My mom used to work for an Association that took care of mentally handicapped people of all ages . She used to work night shift ( 11pm - 7am) at the group home and used to see and hear ghosts all the time . Lights would go on and off , doors would slam and things got moved all the time . She knows it's not her clients doing it either because they were all asleep .

i got a freaky one, one of my teachers students was playing that jigi(sp) board game and many spirits came into there home. so then i belive it was 1 day later she took pictures of her room and in one of her pictures there is a face of a gost in it. it was the most freakyist things ive ever seen the face was huge and it wasent a real persons face becuase she showed us that the nose on it was way to big for human size and the eybrows on it were to far up and down. but it was a gost, only if i could get a pic of it.

Haha, yeah really. I think after 300 jumps(think that's what it said), he would make one that gradually sloped. On that last jump that he wrecked on, it looked like he was airborne as soon as he hit the bottom of the ramp. He didn't even need the rest of the ramp!:p

Well, I came home from work, had a beer... fired up the lawn mower and cut the grass. I then fired up the weed wacker, did some trimming and finished up with our hedges.

Had another beer, fired up the chimney starter shown below. Cooked some steaks and corn on the cob. Finished up with a few more beer's and a cigar. Wife did some gardening while I was taking care of our yard.

We wrapped up the night watching "The Postman"...

Anyone who is like me and will only cook on charcoal or lump coal NEEDS one of these. This is the second time I've used this and I can't believe I've been using lighter fluid for all of these years!!!

It's just a break in the action right now as they're gone to get pictures taken . We decided to come home for a bit since we live just down the street from the hall . Dinner to be served in about an hour , hopefully it's better than the food at the last wedding I went to . I need some good food to coat my stomach so that the alcohol goes down good and stays there . :p

for $12 I'll pass on the coffee can and buy what I have. You would have to modify the crap out of a coffee can to get the same results.. trust me. :D

So it's Sunday afternoon and I'm not hungover . :D

Well remember I said that I would bet any money that there would be some sort of drama that goes on at my buddy's wedding .... well I wasn't wrong . Here's what happened .

The ceremony was in the afternoon and we had a few hours to wait until dinner . My gf and I came home , but a few of my buddies went to another friends house and started drinking . Well my one buddy Eric got into a bottle of Crown Royal and when he got to the hall at around 5:30 that night he was feeling pretty good . At the hall he starts taking doubles of rye , then drank almost 2 bottles of wine all within 1 1/2 hours . Now he's pretty drunk and starting to hit on a few girls . Dinner comes and goes and he's still drinking doubles of Crown , the music starts and now he's becomming touchy feely with a lot of girls , including my girlfriend . He grabbed her *** a few times and both her and I told him that enough was enough .

Now I gotta tell you a bit about this guy . I've known him since kindergarden and have always been friends with him . He's about 6 foot and around 200 lbs of muscle . The guy works out everyday and has a 3rd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Doe (?) ... needless to say he's bigger and stronger than I am and would whoop my behind in a fight . Now back to the story...

So I tell him to back off and he does . He starts on another girl and she tells him she's had enough after a little while . Throughout the night he made his way around to about a dozen or so girls and grabbed them and such . He even grabbed ahold of my buddy's girlfriend Jen's dress and put his hand down her shirt right in front of her boyfriend/fiance. He had enough and let Eric know about it . So Jen goes to the washroom and was talking to some other girl and she asked Jen why Eric was acting this way ... Jen said " It's the way he is when he's drunk" . Well Eric was in the men's washroom with Randy ( Jen's fiance) and heard this . Eric lost he and started yelling at Jen . Randy get's in Eric's face to defend his girlfriend . A few minuets go by and Eric goes outside and a few of my buddies follow him to see what's going to happen .... Randy stayed inside .

So outside Eric flips out . He started punching a side door denting the hell out of it , then he started nailing a cement post , then a metal garbage bin . My buddies jumped in to stop him before he broke his hands and arm from punching everything . It took 4 guys ( all big guys) to jump on Eric to try and get him to stop . Even with 4 guys on him , he was able to move around and punch stuff and throw my buddies off of him . This guy is a damn tank .

Finally he settles down a bit and everyone is leaving the hall cuz the party's over . Eric sees Jen and Randy and he starts calling Randy on . Randy knowing he'd get his *** handed to him just jumps into Jen's brother's car along with Jen and they start to take off . Well Eric wasn't finished .... he decides his going after them and starts running after the car and punched the side of it . Jen's brother just finished doing the bodywork and paint on his car 2 days ago . As far as I know , Eric didn't do any damage ... HOPEFULLY.

Eric comes walking back towards the hall and there was large cement blocks with 2x4s running between them to seperate the parking areas .. well with one good kick he busted one of the 2x4s in 3 places , he then flipped over about 6 of these cement blocks .

I don't know what might have happened after all that cuz me and the girlfriend walked home ... but what a damn night . I thought it would have been the bride who would have flipped out , but instead one of my good buddies decides he's gunna cause chit .

So anyways , that's how my Saturday night went . Lesson to be learned ... DON'T DRINK TOO MUCH RYE OR ELSE YOU MIGHT LOSE A FEW FRIENDS , POSSIBLY BREAK YOU KNUCKLES AND LOOK LIKE A COMPLETE IDIOT!!!
