I just finished rebuilding my bike about 3months ago.My clutch started to slip so i tore it down again. Now im lost at what could have caused this. When i tore it down the first time to do a complete rebuild the inner hub was shot lots of wear.So i replaced everything but the basket. Now 3 short months later the outer plate is shot.
PLEASE HELP WHAT COULD CAUSE THIS IN JUST 3 MONTHS:(

Was it adjusted correctly.. That's the only thing I could think of at the top of my head. Did it slip at all while riding?

have you got aluminum clutch plates or steel. if you have aluminum they could be worn causing the clutch to slip and wearing the basket and head plate out
