Alright, as of now I am saving to buy a new (used) quad. In the end I'll have roughly around 1500-1800$.

Im 14 years old and way to big for my 90. I weigh 130ish, and im 5'5.

Im looking into the following:

Warrior

300ex

400ex

Mojave

Im used to riding a 300ex, so its not like its going to be a huge leap for me. I ride in trails 99% of the time. I have 2 large jumps, and Im planning on making them bigger when I purchase the new quad. I want it to last awile, and not have to sell it and buy a bigger quad.

Any suggestions?

I would get the 400ex over the others no doubt, but the $ is an issue :(

well, it doesnt matter if the quad needs work. i can fix it, and my dad is willing to help. ive seen alot of 300ex's in that range, but i dont think i should settle for one. ill probly outgrow it

I found my perfect condition 01 400ex for 1900, new tires and brakes, all service records, title, 100% perfect (rode next day).

It is LIGHT YEARS ahead of the warrior and mojave, and if AT ALL POSSIBLE, spend the extra month or two finding a good deal on the 400ex over the others. You will be happy you did, trust me.

If you are going to jump your quad i would go with the 400ex.

i could get a 250x/300ex. then upgrade the suspension to works shocks or something, and just keep modiying it

I rode my friends 300ex on the trails for about 5 minutes before I wanted off. My friend wouldn't get off my 400, finally got him off after about an hour :grr: Trust me, skip the 300ex and buy the 400ex. The 400 suspension is worlds ahead of the 300, so even after you drop a grand on suspension for the 300, it's not going to handle/jump much better than the 400 stock, and you still have a smaller+slower quad.

If you want to drive all the way down to Georgia my buddy is selling his 300ex for 1700.
04' 300ex (yellow)
White Bros e-series full exhaust
ITP c-series rims(polished)
KandN filter
race cut fenders
909 handelbars
It has ITP tires but you'll need new rears
Oh he changed his gearing aswell I just dont know to what.
