So you wack and blow all day , eh Josh ??? Never knew you were like that . ;)

Steel toed boots are the only way to go ..... especially if you happen to get mad and kick the lawn mower while it's running .

For comfort, I'd go with any skating shoe brand. Those shoes have to be the most cushiony things I've ever worn. But you can always buy work boots and then buy those gels to put in them. You'll be gel'in like a felon in no time.

I wouldnt reccomend skating shoes. I work construction in the summer and I had to wear my Etnies today because I lost my boots, and my feet are still hurting. My feet dont hurt as much when I wear boots. I'm thinking about putting some of those fancy gellin foot sole things in my boots and shoes though.

Well, I do lawncare and landscaping 6 days a week as well. What I find the most comfortable are cross-training shoes. They are comfy for walking all over the place. My advice is dont get something with a lot of white, it will be green in a week.

My globes work fine, I even work construction and paving in them. I found a pair of Dr Scholes (sp) soles lying around and slipped em in. Most comfortable shoes I ever had. :D

I practically live in work boots, and well etnies sometimes... I can be on my feet 16 hours a day in my Cats and my feet are fine, they have saved my toes millions of times and saved me from a broken ankle when i got t-boned on my cycle...

Don't be stupid with skate shoes. Look for a good work boot not some 29.99 special at walmart. One boot i would recomond is anything by georga.

i wear new balance when i mow lmfao...or im barefoot the majority of the time.

im about to start cuttin yards with a friend, as soon as i have a truck. ive got the trailor, we've got a blower, and weed-eaters, but we've only got push mowers. will push mowers do good until i can save up and buy a zero turn mower?

I wear Doc Martins about 16 hours a day. I live in these shoes...I would recommend them.

Yeah I agree. I have 3 pairs; old work ones, medium work ones, and a pair for good. They dont last long though, I buy a new pair prob every 6mos and use them for good and throw the oldest ones away. They are very comfy though.

Cats are the way to go. Steel toe as well. They must pay real good where you are working to afford Doc Martins.

I have been landscaping for about 6-7 years and have have used almost every type of boot/shoe i feel the best choice is a god pair of hiking boots. right now i have a pair of "vasque" hiking boots they are a good comprise of protection and light weight also they are waterproof. after 16 hours my feet feel great

i have timberlands and i dont like them as much as the no name brands...my no name brands are more comfy and cheaper...

i'd say, try some stuff in the store and buy like 2-3 things and use them and if you dont like them, try to sell it to one of the guys that you work with and tell them, "i love them, but they didnt fit right" lol:devil:

when i was on the grass crew I couldn't stop my feet from hurting like heck no matter what! steel toes KILLED my feet, and then I got steel toe shoes, what a difference. They still caused some feet pain, but it was a vast improvement. Wearing steeltoes and doing all that walking/standing is murder in the heat.
