Ok stupid question (just made the switch from dirtbikes). Is there such thing as race sag for a quad? I know on my CRF450r it was supposed to be set at 100mm. Got a new Raptor 700r and just wanted to make sure it is set up right.

Ive never heard of anybody setting the sag on a quad. What you need to try to set is the frame height with you standing on the pegs. You need to measure underneath the pegs at the bottom of the frame and under the frame at the rear lower a arm mount.

Il admit that I dont read about any people setting the frame height on quads with completely stock suspension. If the stock shocks have enough adjustment in them for your weight set it around eight inches with the front slightly higher, with in a half inch difference.
