For the fifth round of the ITP Quad Cross, we headed to our first of two rounds scheduled at Speed World Race Way. Everyone seems to enjoy this track, and are excited to be racing under the lights.

06-30-2006, 01:43 PM
With just over 200 entries for the weekend, we knew that it was going to be a long night, as everyone was lining up for practice.

06-30-2006, 01:44 PM
And there was definitely some "Real HORSE POWER" at this round, but no, he wouldn't be racing.

06-30-2006, 01:56 PM
Many of the riders where excited to see that Kory Ellis was at another ITP Quad Cross race. And Kory was hoping that he would be able to take the win this weekend, but I think that was on all of the pros minds.

06-30-2006, 01:57 PM
Another surprise was Angela Butler, we where glad to finally see her back here at an ITP Quad Cross, and all of the girls where glad to just be able to lineup next to her.

07-01-2006, 02:34 PM
There where 19 pros lined up to race. With Names like Dustin Nelson, Kory Ellis, and Jeff Spooner, We all knew there was going to be a good race.

And it was Jeff Spooner who grabbed the holeshot, with Dustin Nelson right behind him.

07-01-2006, 02:35 PM
Kory Ellis, someone who we expected to see out front, was running in the back after getting a horrible start.

07-01-2006, 02:44 PM
Jeff Spooner was still leading the pro class, and running an amazing race.

07-01-2006, 02:50 PM

07-01-2006, 08:47 PM

07-01-2006, 11:37 PM
Here is Kory Ellis trying to make the pass on Jeff Spooner, and shortly after he was able to do so.

Second moto he did not have such a good start, and about halfway into the race, was once again hit by another rider, causing him to crash. He was ok, but it took him a while to get his bike kick started.

As you can see, the mud was a bit of a factor, but only for a few races. They watered the track before the expert class, and I think almost every single rider spun out at least once. And there where riders hitting eachother everywhere.

But Dylan Belto, shows us here in the beginner class, that the mud was still pretty bad, even after the experts got off the track.

07-02-2006, 09:32 AM
Theo Lusardi was having a great race, and decided that he would take the lead early on.

07-02-2006, 09:35 AM

07-02-2006, 09:38 AM
The race for the blaster class was intense. With a track that was hard for passing, these little kids where showing that they had no fear.

07-02-2006, 09:44 AM

07-02-2006, 09:46 AM
Lynn, was running in the second place position.

07-02-2006, 09:48 AM
The hardest part for the girls, was when they caught the first gate. This track was not passing friendly so the girls had to become aggresive.

07-02-2006, 09:49 AM
But Corry Weller was able to make her way around the boys, and also around Lynn to take over the second place position.

07-02-2006, 09:51 AM
