oil filter(washer)????

i just got a new oil filter and it came with a aluminum washer.i havent seen this before.is the washer for the drain bolt,or the filter,i have never put a washer on the oil filter..

wut brand of filter is it

i just did a bit of searching,the washer is for the filter...first time i got a filter that that came with a washer..it is just your basic OEM filter for honda`s.
