Well, I just wanna see what some of you would pay for my 01 300ex. Everything is ready for racing and the internal motor has just been rebuilt with a wiseco. Everything else you can see on it. I have invested over 5 in under a year. Oh and so far, I am winning all of D-6 XC. I paid 1800 for it a year ago. Will soon have brand new plastic. Also has BAJA rear rims with Klaws and ITP GNCC fronts. If the pictures are being gay, just go to:

I would say $2200-$2500 max is about all you will get. The value of 300ex's just isn't there because you can pick up a used 400 for about the same price.

if I can get around 2200 with it in like stock form (all aftermarket parts off and replaced with the stock) I will be happy. Im hoping that when I go to sell it, someone will give me a nice offer considering how well it does at our tracks.

You would definitely be better off putting it back to stock before selling. In stock form you should be able to get at least $1800 since the motor is built. I thought about selling mine until I saw how little people are willing to pay. Plus I didn't keep my stock parts so I would have to sell it with all the goodies. Even with my long list of mods I would be shocked to get anything over $2500 out of it.

I'm really hoping the value of the 300's go up a little since they stopped making them. I think race ready ones will be more desirable soon for young people moving up from the 90cc classes.

yeah thats what I am hoping too. There are alot of 300ex where I race and alot of kids that are looking to get them for when they move out of the 90 class. I prob will sell it in stock form and sell the aftermarket parts seperate because I will probaly make more money that way. I think with the production of 300ex coming to a stop, the racers will prob be willing to pay some money to get one.

Yeah. I don't expect the value to go up much but at least it shouldn't continue to drop the way it has. I've seen some 2001 300's that were in good shape sell for as little as $1400 recently.

the guy was the first one to look at it and didn't think twice about handing over the cash. i probably ould have gotten a little more from it, maybe 2 grand, but that would hbe about it and have been pushing it

yep, I still have it.

i know you put a lot of time into the quad and all that but since you paid $1800 for it in stock form, i wouldnt try to get any more out of it in stock form...


then i saw you were selling your elkas and then you could sell your other stuff...

maybe make $500 or so
