Has any one ever had a problem with breaking front fender mounts??

I have a problem with breaking them. THey just snap in 1/2

I know I will catch hell for this...but there isnt much that doesnt break on the 450r...all the newer quads for that matter:p If you race mx, cutting the fenders will slightly help, if you run xc then maybe someone has a beefier set made. There isnt much fender on the R but whats there is enough to break the mounts:ermm:

i used thivk wall aluminum tubing, and crimped the ends and drilled wholes for my front mounts

hasnt broke since (just make sure you use the thickest you can find, the first set i made was to small and cracked, but this set has proven to taking a beating)

does any-one make a after market front fender that has been cut for racing?

I know Laker Customs and Maier makes a racecut front fender. I'm not sure if Fullbore does or not.

Not trying to Hijack this thread, but why are you selling your bike already after you put all that time and money into it?

not to hijack your thread ether... but 450robot i think you asked about if ppl would like your graphics. i love them now that i see them on. the mockup did no justice to them and i could see why ppl didnt like them then but you should show them now how good they look!

I agree. They do look pretty sweet, and different.:D

Cut them and eliminate the brackets.
