well i got all my seals for my rear brake today replaced them fine. but as i was putting it back together i forgot to adjust the jam nut on the i think its the praking brake unit and i ended up cracking the housing of the parking brake. do i need this part or could i rig it up to work without it

Ditching the "hardly works" parking brake an using a parking brake block-off plate is a common mod.

I just grabed those pics of the web. You can get a block-off plate from tons of different places. Hope that helps.

ya and they are cheap too. it will only cost u $10-$15. that is prolly cheaper than buy a replacment part from ur dealer
