87 in 450r?

Will it hurt anything?

Dad accidently got the wrong gas n i wanted to hit my new jump so i rode about a half hour on 87. All i really noticed is it gets hot really fast so i just leave it sit till it cools down.

You wont have any problems running the 87 besides the machine running crappy.

I would go to your local car parts store or walmart and buy a small container of octane boost and ad some according to the directions.

If your engine ran hotter with 87 than it was probably detonating. Dentonation puts a lot of heat into the engine (along with knocking down HP). Mild detonation isn't likely to kill an engine very quickly but it does cause accelerated piston wear. Heavy detonation will cause engine failure.
