Well, I just got done getting the rear-end on my 400ex dis-assembled. 24" Crescent Wrench worked perfect on lock-nut. I was hoping it was just going to be an easy bearing install, but apparently after taking everything apart, I noticed the old bearings melted themselves and became one with the carrier in some spots, and in other spots they shredded the carrier. So anyway. I need a new carrier. Will a stock 450r carrier fit in my 400ex? I see them on ebay all the time, or should i just upgrade so i dont grenade another stock carrier? I was trying to keep it cheap, but it looks like I will have to wait a little now before i ride again.
