Winchester Bay camping

What campgrounds have direct dune access? I know Discovery Point does but are there any others? And if I cant find a camp ground is it ok to camp on the sand? Thanks.

I don't know of any other dune access camps to winchester other than discovery point. And yes you can camp on the sand.

Discovery point is booked till AFTER labor day.....how gay.
I just went there over fathers day weekend and had to sleep over night about 2 miles up the road and goto the day use and ride out.

there are some camp grounds that are not as far down in the bay as discoverey point and you can ride from there but it messes up your paddles riding that far.
