what is the hose that comes off of my intake between my carb and airbox? it goes to a little empty resavior looking thing then down into the motor. well tranny directly under my carb? thanks

Crankcase breather. It keeps pressure from building up in the crankcase. It is vented into the intake for emission reasons.
