My ITP aluminum rims are stuck on the lugs. Any suggestions to this ridiculous problem. I have tried beating the rims off with wood and a hammer. No luck. Thanks

tip: NEVER use the tapered side of the stock lugs on aftermarket rims!

are they on the atv with tires?? if so this happened to me at my schools auto shop. they wouldnt come of we ended up having to lightly screw 2 out of 5 lugs on and back the car up drive it in a circle tell they came off. then tightened them back up drove it in the bay lifted it up and they came right off.

also you might wanna spray some type of penitrating oil (sp) on the studs. and make sure if u beat it with a hammer to have a lug on so they dont fly off.

hope this helps!

You can do what we do at Sear's automotive...

Kick the **** out of it. Kick the tires around every egde. The should eventually break loose. Quad needs to be in the air for that to work also.

aluminum has a tendency to bond with itself, you could also but some anti-seize around where the rim touches the hub i used to do that on my old rims

this happened to my buddy's quad somehow we managed to use a wheel puller and it brought it off without any trouble.
