Ok I feel retarded but I have to know.

I know Zuki makes the Z400's and Kawasaki makes the kfx400. But who makes the DVX?

Buddy has an 05 kfx400. I love that bike. I thought about getting one but my 400ex is treating me very well so I will hang on to it.

Heres mine, just picked it up sunday... havnt got a chance to pull the fenders off but that looks crazy! not much done to it.. but i think it looks better without the tribal arctic cat graphics

after the crash, i bent the steering stem, blew the seals in my axis shock, took a tire off the bead and broke my wrist. Then sold a few things like the swinger, a arms and pipe. rebuild to start soon:D

yup, your right on the money. all three are the same quads except for plastics and shock color. and i agree TRX23rider, the DVX's do look better than i thought. nice quads everyone!

Hey DVXchic, where did you manage to find a seat cover? I've found a couple on ebay but they either have a confederate flag or red flames on them. i like urs with the silver/black i want an orange/black

I had it made by a local guy, he does boat seats and stuff, he charged me $100 can to make the cover and modify the foam a bit.
as far as i know no companys other then the ones on ebay make covers for them. a friend of mine has the confederate flag one and its not a bad seat cover, if you like that kind of thing.
Mine is made from marine grade material, it won't rip, fade or stain. so if you have one made ask for that stuff.

it does have a higher seat height than a 400ex.. slightly less plush and less comfortable as well, but by no means is it any tippier... I've yet to come close to rolling over in a high speed turn

Ok, thanks. Just curiosity.They're probably a really good machine. I can't say I've seen many advertised for sale, though. How are part's cost compared to yamaha/honda?

yo diesel I've only had it for about a month now so havn't had to buy any replacement parts or get it serviced yet.. my guess is probably around the same price as either for parts... should have less maintenance than the yamaha though.. because its a yamaha :blah: jk

Hey you should check Verde Powersports for the seat cover I had the one on my Kfx done with diamond plate vinyl and true blue it turned out pretty cool.:cool: :cool:

hey garretthinojosa i like ur dvx, howd u get ur front rims reversed i tried it on mine and the valve stem whould hit the calliper, howd u do it?

remove the valve stem cover caps, and it should work....
mine clears by a few centimeters

DUDE NICE QUADS little off topic but i think the DVX looks WAAAAAAYY better than the Z400 or the KFX400 so did they quit making dvxs or what cuz they stopped making kfxs but they were in a partnership that was ended but suzuki owns sum of articat so they might still be making them

if they keep making dvx400s i think them will finally get the attention they diserve especialy with kfx out of the way:D :D :p

only kawi and suz split, AC is still playing ball with Suzi
so yes there will still be more dvx's, thats good, i really love the performance of mine but some of the plastics n' electrical items are junks

I've alwayz thought the dvx's looked cool but my dads looked kind of funny, but now it looks sweet with the Ohlins shocks, MXr6's- 20's on the front 18's on the rear and the sweet new AC racing bumper we got him for x-mas, I'll post a pic of it soon just waiting for a nice day to take a pic :grr: Hows project yfz coming along Terri "DVXchic" ?

Hows your wrist doing? I've had my plate out and man does it feel waaayy better. I've picked up a few more suppliers, and we are looking into buying a new place, if all goes well I will lyk if we move. its only around the corner from us, where Dans suzuki used to be.

I just take a little more time on cleaning it. Water down all the mud and throw some wax wash soap, then dry it up. Fun , fun!
