I know this isn't atv related but I just bought a 150 cc 4stroke scooter new in crate, put it together ( plastics, shocks and tires nothing to do with the motor) and it will crank over but won't start. It has spark and is getting gas. I tried the manufacturer but it's like pulling teeth to get an answer, does anyone have any ideas?

Get some starter fluid, choke or not with that stuff if their is a spark its gonna fire. It could be so much stuff. Clogged fuel filter, etc...

Theres no choke or petcock on the tank.

check to see if it has a primer. it's kinda' large for a primer, but if there's no choke then there might be a primer. if there is, pump it a few times and then it should fire up

primer would help. starter fluid should get you on your way. if it's getting fuel and spark it should certainly run, if that doesn't work, something in the engine is wrong.

I got her running last night, they must of fogged the cylinder or something because the plug wasn't getting wet after i let it sit over night, but the brainiac that put the fuel lines together from the manufacturer hooked up the lines wrong and there was no gas going to the motor. thanks for the help she runs great now.
