As you will see the pictures it lowers the 450 almost by 2.5 inches.
This is a big difference. Pictures are ok...Right tire was a little low on air as you will see...

First pic is with stock link

So did you have your rear shock revalved or what? And how much did that link run you? I'm probably going to have to get that link when I get this +2 swinger for my 450R. I'm just trying to get some ideas for how much I'm going to have to kick out ($) to get my rear end setup right.

The link by itself is $175 without bearings. You can get the revalve and link for $250 if your in the 180lb range as you would use the stock spring. If you need a new spring it will be $350 for the rear revalve, respring, and linkage. I have the revalve and linkage and it rides like a dream.:D

After we put the link on the stock shock felt great. A brotherinlaw is running the gt link with the shock revaled and it close... We will see... He is riding an 04..

The linkage is a must....

here's the differebce between the 2 linkages the 05-0001 ( which you probably have on your quad) and the newest one that you deff need a revalve for 05-0002.....the newest on the left and is considerable different than the older one.

I looked at some pic's and my linkage is different. I will check my invoice with the part number tonight. The difference I can see is the bottom of mine is cut different. The 2 you showed are rounder.. You will see in the pic.

There may be differences in the motox and xc links.

What a arms are you using with the Gt Thunder linkage?

I have a 04 TRX 450R and I was thinking off putting either Gibson or Laeger long travel a arms with Custom Axis triple rates on front and thinking of trading my 04 swingarm and shock for a 06 (3/4" longer) and sending the 06 shock to GT Thunder to have them revalve/re spring stc and buy the GT Thunder rear linkage.

Has anybody tried this? Will this work with a aftermarket front suspension and a Gt thunder rear with stock 06 swingarm?
