Anyone using amsoil 0W40 powersports synthetic oil in their trx450R? I've seen this stuff all over the place and am thinking of using it in the engine side of my machine and sticking with the Honda GN4 oil in the tranny. Any experience would be appreciated. The amsoil bottle says it's excellent for cold weather (hense the 0W winter rating) as well as being excellent for high temperature.

I run it in my warrior. Otherthan the cost I like it. It shifts smoother and I can get in and out of reverse easily when its hot now.

I use it in my YFZ and love it. Best oil I've used. It shifts a lot smoother.

The Amsoil ATV 0w40 is a great synthetic for the 450's or any other water cooled, or stock air cooled 4-stroke.

I run Amsoil 20w50 in my 330ex. But she get's a lot hotter than a water cooled 450r. ;)
