We have been contacted by a licensed massage therapist who will be coming to the races to help riders get limbered up before a race, or help rub sore muscles before the drive home.

I hope everyone is doing good! I have been away from the computer! I passed my nursing boards and I am an RN with a dislocated knee! I find out if I have to have surgery on 7-14. I am hoping to find out sooner! Don't ask how I done it but it wasn't riding!!

We're headed there tomorrow. It's not a bad place to ride if they open up all of the trails. We rode there about a month ago with Dustin and scott and they had closed about 4 miles of trails because of rain. They should all be open this weekend though. It's all one way and there are not a lot of crossing trails so you can go pretty fast. Except for the occassional ute and some kids.

Our ride got cancelled for Saturday, so we're going down there tomorrow. Probably be there early too. The flat track is pretty weak there so you probably won't spend a lot of time on it.

it is w/ very much regret i post this message but i felt the need to pull in as much help and prayers as necessary - hence - i'm reaching out to the community of which joey loved, lived for and rode hard against all... this past saturday evening, joey bashaw was in a very serious car accident in upstate new york - he suffered spinal cord damage at which point the medical experts are indicating may be permanent... personally, i think joey is too strong minded for this to happen and in speaking w/ him this morning - he kept repeating "one step at a time"... his road to recovery will be long and enduring and even though he may never be out there w/ us again - every inch of every track i ride from here on out will be for him and his spirit.... he was number 24 in 4 stroke B, but number ONE in my heart and will be forever... he's the best dag burn SON-IN-LAW one could ever ask for... joey - i love you man - plse hang in there - be tough and be strong.... PLEASE....!!!!!

for all out there who read this - please keep joey in your thoughts and prayers... any small miracles would be much appreciated - and - plse ensure your fourth of july holiday is safe and sincere... i'm heading to ny tomorrow - hopefully i'll bring back some good news by the wkend...

About K-Bar. If you have a utility quad then go for it. If you have a sport quad you will be cussing the whole day. It is rutted out EXTREAMLY BAD. The trails are also hard to fallow cause we ended up on private property. So dont waste your money. TNT is way better if you pay. There isnt anything hard but it is just fun as hell and they keep there trails nice.

I will keep Joey and his family in my prayers!! My mom was shot, in 1987, and the doctors said she would be a vegetable. She has a lot of spunk and she is only paralyzed on her right side and does fine! Sounds like Joey has a lot of spunk and sure he will have an amazing recovery!!

just got in from running a sorcs race in hiawassee ga.. damn i'm tired.. great ride jim houston sr.. there was never a 1/4 mile between me and jim all day.. mideast rider results..
mike houston overall winner, gary bryson 3rd and santo had some trouble, not sure what happened to him..

I just got back yesterday from NY. Andrew "Norm" Cornell and I went up there to see some family and raced in an Atlantic Grand Prix race on sunday. He races 4st- B in Mid-East, I run C, We both ran open B up there.

I got in the woods second, he was last after not getting a good kick. He quickly got around everyone and we ran 1-2 for the first 3 laps. He got around me when i stopped for gas, to lead the 4th lap, then I got back around him at his gas stop and I led the 5th. On the last lap he got around me to take the win.

That series spends a lot of money in advertising, but its no where near as well run as the Mid-East. I have never seen so many people cutting the course as I did in that race, no mile markers, no checkpoints other than the finish line, and the track was way more wide open than anything we run.

Sure was nice to go up there and finish 1-2 though.

I did everything I could, I just couldnt keep him behind me.

They sure do cater to a certain pro rider. First of all, the rules say you cant race more than one race, and there were about 5 people who ran both races. Not only that, after CB got done in the morning, he held up the afternoon race almost an hour waiting for him to get to the line. I like him and all just wasnt real impressed with the way the series handled the whole day. Seemed like it was pretty much a free for all, no rules, do whatever you want....

the 1st moto the guy didn't even hollar 10 secounds for the pros and mike stared last and won with gary bryson 2nd and dustin canipe 3rd
b class robinson was still kicking his when the rest of the class went through part of the mx and into the woods before he fired and he still won with scott canipe a close 2nd
i won senoir 1st moto with jim houston sr 3rd
2nd moto, both of these motos were 4 laps... and it was hot !!
pro.. houston, bryson and dustin canipe..overall
b class was scott canipe and robinson in 2nd, since scott won the 2nd moto he was first place in b class
i won senoir both motos with jim houston in 2nd but all over me... you go big jim !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

dang wish I would have known Mike was wanting to go. I went mountain biking instead and Jeff went to taylorsville for some motocross practice. Who's racing this weekend and when are you leaving. Jeff and I are thinking about going but arent sure how far of a drive it is. My transmission is out in my truck so I'll have to bum a ride. If we dont go I will be riding somewhere on sunday then I will be starting the kickstart addition to my er.

i wouldnt actually say he schooled him but for Richie to be riding with stock rebuilt shocks, a-arms, swingarm, and more he is more of my idol any guy that can go out with a close to stock quad and hang with the best that have the best is fast you just wait Richie's day will come :D

Well we just got back from the race in GA, had a good time. fast and rough tracks dont mix, seen more injurys at that one race than all the mideasts ive been too. Congrats to Mike for another win and santo takin 2nd, and Jimmy gettin him a win in A class, and my dad got 2nd in senior. Me on the other hand i crashed hard and tweaked my wrist pretty bad and broke my clutch perch on the 2nd lap. The track was almost 8 miles long and Mike was doin under 16 minute laptimes thats how fast it was.

Yeah... Competition is a bit stiffer at the mideast... It sure does help starting out up front though. Starting in the C line you run into a lot of bottlenecks.

i was 4th overall untill i wrecked on the third lap in the motocross. i broke both bones in my right arm and go to surgery on tuesday morning 2 have 2 metal plates put in my arm.
