I used to have hundreds of songs downloaded onto my old computer , but it crashed and had to be reformatted ... I lost 4 years worth of work . :( Keep spitting out old rock songs .... it's helping me to remember titles I used to have .

Sorry I'm whoring up this thread , but whatever you do MAKE SURE atleast one of your CDs has Trooper - Here for a Good Time , Not a Long Time on it !!!!

That's the ultimate drinking/partying song . Crank it up , pop a few tops off the brown bottles and sing along .

I'm making a few CDs tomorrow for when the GF and I go camping with all our friends at a Provincial Park . I predict us getting thrown out of the park for too much loud music and partying . :blah:

dont forget to mix some disco music from the 70's, like gloria gaynord (?) i will survive, some abba, dancing queen.

before the bashing, i know that this thread is rock songs, but this are also clasic, and since you are going on a trip, sometimes is good to mix it up just a little bit.

i havent seen Skid row, withe lion, cindirella. well these where some of the groups when i was growing up, maybe not clasics but is fun when you hear all this songs and suddenly you start to sing them.

It's amazing how many great bands are/were around ... so many of them that when I read about bands like Skid Row I'm like " Oh **** , I forgot all about them " . Some good music came out of these guys .

Maybe add some John Cougar Mellencamp also . " Pink Houses ( Ain't that America) , Hurts So Good, R.O.C.K in the USA., Jack and Diane"

Actually Metallica has been around alot longer than 15 years. They already had several albums put out by 1988 when they had their Master of Puppets album and were on the Monsters of Rock tour. Close enough to classic for me.
