My friend just got a new 450 this past weekend. we do a lot of XC riding. We put Razr 2 22" up front and XC 20" in the rear and we geared it down a tooth in the front but we are still getting a lot of push in the curves. Does anyone else have that problem? If so how did you fix it? Any help would be appreciated.

Suspension setup. What have you done to the suspension so far, as in ride height and adjustments?

with my razr2's its not as bad but I like to run them a bit softer than I did with the stockers

try letting 1 lb of air out.

or add a lb to the rear's to make them spin easier so it wont lift the front as much.

and suspension setup if you haven't done that yet.

Still sitting on stock suspension. The only adjustment we have made were softening them up for him. I am a 400ex guy so I am not sure about the adjustments on the R shocks. What would be a suggestion? Also, I see alot of guys riding 21" front tires, would that shift enough weight to the front to help with turning?

try running them in the opposite direction if you're running them with te arrow rigth now....turn them to whewre the knobs v to the front, it will get more precise. i ran mine right at 5lbs.

i race XC and i had the same problem but i softened the preload all the way and that seemed to cured push but it still had "choppy" feeling to it. if i was you, i would save some money and have some shock work done.

im assuming he has an 06 since you said new. the 06 spindles are a poor design and don't turn nearly as well as the 04 or 05 spindle's. check the ride height the front and rear should be the same height not a 1/4" or so off like on the 04 and 05.
