Transmission Problems

i have a little problem with my counter balance, the shaft that my front sprocket goes onto is somewhat stripped, my temp fix was that i tacked the sprocket onto the shaft. how much of a pain will this be to change

The cases will have to be split and the countershaft will have to changed.

I have a spare if you need one.
