Seat latch

looking for an aftermarket seat latch because im constantly losing my seat! dg makes one but its alot of money! pro fab has one but i dont know where to find it! does anyone else know of something else?

are you sure you didn't post this in the wrong section? maybe you have a kfx/z400? i've NEVER had a problem with my rear seat/fenders falling off.

I have an OMF seat latch from www.magicracing.com, it is nearly impossible to lose your seat with this latch. The OMF latch also helps keep my rear fenders from being so floppy. It cost about $50 if I remember right.

The OMF is sweet, probably the best made. As far as 400ex seats falling off, happens all the time.

i've had that problem on my KFX, but for some reason the seat on my honda has stayed put. hmmm.... i must not be riding hard enough

Yeah you all have the new 400ex its a little different. 99-03 with maier plastics is a pain though.

Some of the ex seats stayed on fine, when they get older from being taken on and off the seat latch gets worn down, after some crashes and stuff things get tweaked a little. My brother jumps his fairly hard and the seat came off 2 times.

I changed my plastics and now the seat latch works great but it doesnt connect to the frame so it does nothing :confused:
