Well... the time has come to sell the 400, and get myself a 450r. I want to keep the 400 baley, but my dad wont let me, because then there would be too many vehicles around the house, but the more toys the marrier!!! :D So.... the question is... how much do you think the 400 is worth? The parts i have on it are in my sig, and i don have any clean pics of it. Right before i sell it, I am going to put new tires, brakes, and polish it from top to bottom for the buyer. Here is a ok clean pic. This was taken in mid december.

Look at a local ATV/motorcycle trader. Check out the other quads that are the same year and make. On average you'll see $2.500 to $3400.00 depending on condition and how extensive the aftermarket parts are on your quad.

If i were you I'd have a set $ amount in your head. Let's say $2700. Thats what you want to get out of the quad. So you would list it at about $3100.00. This gives you and the buyer some room to haggle over the price. But just remember to not go below what you want.

Don't be unreasonable too, If you think you can get $3500 and people are only offering $3000.00 No one will buy your bike. You'll just be sitting on something that wont sell at that price.

Do some research on this and many other sites and also check the local and big city news papers and magazines.

Best bet is to check the Cycle trader in your area. You might be suprised on how much quads are selling for in you state.

Honestly, unless you want to sit on it for a while and sell it locally who knows when, i would say no more than $2,200. Of course, waiting a good long time, the right person could come along and snatch it up for a decent price. On ebay though, probably no more than 2,000-2200. Locally, after waiting for who knows how long probably the $2500-$2700 range.
