I second the sandstars for good all around performance in the sand. I did notice, on the 400ex, that the straight paddles hooked up a lil better. I would still get the sandstars though they are the best for roosting/hookup. Sandstars + cousins 250r = sand in the mouth/face :p

and if youve got the cash, the sand star fronts with the rears are a killer combination...

I would have to agree on the Sand Stars being the best all around. For drag racing, it is all about the Haulers... for everything else, and still not having to slow down much, Sand Stars make it work.:D

Even though I bought Sand Stars for our quads, I still favor the str8 8/10 paddle hauler type for all around. I can make them slide just as good as the sand stars

I might be going to some the dunes this weekend, but cant decided which paddles to get, sand stars or haulers. Are sand stars ok with dragging?

i drag quite a bit with my sandstars... i do just fine, but my bike has quite a bit more power than yours does although yours has quite a bit of torque... i really think that after you get the paddles spinning and get going, i dont think it makes too much difference...
