he said stock right.i might be mistaken but i think dirtwheels did a shootout back in the 80's.i think the good ol 250r bone stock vs. a zilla bone stock.i think the r would get the win.

Of course...300 feet is approx 1/16th of a mile. Get a 600 or 800 foot run and Zilla will walk on the R. Seen it done time after time...of course that was in the sand, using the same kinda paddles.

yeah a few of my buddies and myself where going to take a trip to the dunes. but i had a kid, got married. so it might take a little while. my wifes uncle lives in NM so i might get there sooner than i thought

Pardon me but, how in the **** is a 250cc motor gonna outrun a 500cc motor. Its a whole motor more in displacement. :huh

I've owned a bone stock '87 500 Quadracer and a bone stock '88 250R and while the 250R was my favorite quad, the 500 would smoke it without breaking a sweat. Hands down. No question. 10ft or 1000ft didn't matter. Of course I'd have to stop after 1000ft and tighten bolts on the 500.;)

I sure havent forgotten about the Ol' Tecates'. I have one of each 3&4. It was built short, nimble and quick. I've out run several 250r's that were stock, but the stock Zilla smoked my ***** in a drag. 300ft in the dirt. I did have him off the line but I blinked and the guy passed me almost like I was sitting still.

zilla- hands down.

i was talking to a guy that has a built yfz and he said that his stock zilla would beat it. they were even on acceleration but then the suzuki just kept going.

then he stroked it to a 580 and he said he had to sell it 'cause he couldn't hold on anymore.

i think the tiger might edge out the zilla though because it is alot lighter. it would be very close though

thats because he didnt know anyone that could do more than 70 kmph... lol.
the Tri-Z is the same as the big red.. they are fun to drive.. but useless racing or anything..
bone stock a tri-z would probably do 70-80km's
modded to the nuts would still only be like a hundred clicks lol.
