thats a really good idea! i might have to try something like that because mine are getting to the point where they bounce of the rear tires and sag when there is not even any weight on them.

That's a good idea. I was going to do that but I was going to weld a brace ( with out bolts ) on the subframe near the rear bumper that was bent to the curvature of the rear fender. The reason I wouldn't have done it the way you did is because every time you wanted to take the seat off you would have to undo those bolts.

im going to do that cuz my maier plastic is so floppy it hit me in the butt the other day when i was going through some woops, and it is also melting my plastic.

It has wingnut on it so it takes about 10 seconds to remove.:D

I rode for-4 days at the dunes and its still nice and tight.
