After trying a set of Haulers on my quad, I've decided to ditch my v-paddles and buy a set. I tried a set of new 8 paddle haulers @ 2psi, great hook up, but the engine has plenty of power to spare.

Question is: should I go with 8 or 9 paddles, extremes or not.

BTW--20" tall tires.

Thanks for the replies.

WAYYY too much tire.

I would 6 or 7 Haulers.

OR

8-9 paddle Gliders

You're kidding, right?

I ran 8-paddle haulers at 2 psi, and it turned them with ease.

I couldn't even imagine trying 6 or 7's.

Thanks for the reply.

No Im not kidding.

Ive spent more on paddles and gearing then most spend on there bikes.

Count the paddles on this one, and BTW its a 56HP TRX.

Your bike MAY be at 40.

It may seem like you are turning them but I guarantee your not turning the tires as well as you should be.

If you are going to run the hill use 6s, 7s for duning.

Gliders are the better top speed tire and still launch well.

But hey its your money, buy what you want.

I run 8 paddle Extreme Haulers with my 440ex.We ride where its rocky so I wanted a tougher paddle. Ive always ran them, but if I was stock again, I would go with a 6-7 paddle ;) I can appreciate my paddles a little more now but still, a 7 paddle would be my choice if I was to buy again... A cahnge in gearing will also be in order for both Rear sprockets .

I have read some of R3's info. sounds like he has done alot of research. :)

a 7 paddle would work nicely Im sure . the 450's like them as well. We run the 20x12-8 on our 450 and are pleased with them .

We are not SERIOUS full time duners and like to jump, drag and climb REALLY big hills and bowls. Haulers are a great tire for what we use them for .

Go with a regular 7 paddle hauler. I run 8 paddle extremes on my yfz450 with mods and sure my quad turns them fine, but it robs some power for dragging. I love them for rec riding around then we got hit the drags, but 7 paddle would do just fine.
