Rear Number Plate Question

I want to get a rear number plate on my 400EX, but like most are aware, you can't change the rear grab-bar without cutting the stock one off. Where can I get one and what options do I have to mount one? I was thinking of maybe attaching it somehow behind the light?

just remove the light and mount it there. i custom made my number plate.

That's good. I thought I could mount it to the taillight bracket. Does anyone know where I can get a number plate though?

Mine is just held on with two zipties around the grab bar, but I dont have a tail light on mine...

use the light brackets and if you want to put the light back on put it behind the light and drill 2 holes through the number plate and put the bolts back through it and tighten it up.. thats what we did to JJs450r
