Many of you might know, My family and I are BIG into motors and vtwins.. There was a local car show/bike show and our buddy Mike brought up his tractor and trailer with a dyno and it turned out into the biggest dyno shoot out :p

My camera was acting up today but I did manage to get some runs on video on my brothers..

Heres how it went down, Highest horse power number won, everyone put in some cash and winner takes all

One guy was raising hell about making 93 horse.. that number didnt last long at all, a guy with a dresser came up and made 97, another guy made 106 and a couple more 90 range motors, dad made 121 without nitrous all motor

I was walking around the crowd and found a s-10 my dad built back in 1999 with a 383, aluminum heads etc.. I was in shock to see it, I've had some fun times in it.. It's a wonder if didnt kill us both lol

It ran a 10.50 with street/strip hooisers before he got rid of it.. It was a daily driver too, drove it to work everyday even in the winter/snow.

My dad likes the no show, all go.. Sleepers pretty much :p

It started pouring right when the show ended and it hasnt stopped since..

Dad owes me a cheese steak though, I told him I'd ride the bike home in the rain if he bought me a cheese steak.. Rain hurts at 35mph :scary:

The s-10 is fuggin bullet proof, it had a 10bolt rear, 3:73's and dad had it set at 7000rpm and I'll tell you guys what he used every one of those 7000 lol

Bad *** brother. My bud has a 305 with a Hurst shifter in his S-10, haven't riden in it yet, but it'll light em up, to say the least. You're dad's old truck would stomp it though:( . I'm with him on the sleepers.

i likey the bikes.

Dope Boy Magic!! that s10 ya'll had was a screamer!! Runnin mid 10's in a truck and a daily driver seems freakin' incredible, my brother has a '72 maverick with a built 302 runnin mid 12's and he can hardly run it on the street because of fuel mileage (still gets about 10-13, but thats drivin easy..who wants that?) But yeah, i love to see vehicles running good numbers at the track, and still being able to drive it home..nothing better in my eyes.

Paint jobs go for 1000-2000 sometimes even more if they want the car sanded and buffed..

That car was sanded and buffed, had to put floor pans in it, rebuild the trunk area, some patch work on the sides of the car... Hell we even replaced the motor and all the lines for the top.. It was a lil haggard :p

Do you and your dad do paintjobs alot? my dad wants a paintjob on his 68 vette. How much would you charge for everything, paint/buff etc.
