well i didn't have dyno tires and that caused a problem i used some pretty much bald shedders but they were slipping on the drum.......slipping so bad that there was black smoke in the air after the runs...so the most i could pull was 43hp/30ft...on 14.1 piston/HC-2cam/rossier pipe/stock carb.....48 pilot/needle-3rdclip/185-main

the red lines is when he easied into the throttle to try and get rid of the mid range dip...it worked but the pull was not good
i think if i move the needle to 2clip it may help that, but the A/F does look good

Was the Rossier run the same day? Or, was it from the previous run on the knobbies.
That's a pretty huge difference in peak power for just a pipe change.

What about the jetting? Was that tweaked for each pipe or left the same?

actually the dasa pipe was lean......and the rossier run was the previous graph.
the knobby tires where bald and only affect the first part of the dyno...between 3000 and 7000rpm,so i would say that the dasa just has a higher peak power than the rossier
dasa pipe went lean after 7500rpm,so i put a 190main in.
