hello everybody i got a 05 400ex n i am in love with it.....its all stock....i wanna not what should i get 2 make it faster n beat my friends stock kfx 400....he doesn't pull away from me n the race usually goes either way since his tires r wnot ne good but i wanna no how n what should i do 2 be able 2 pull away from him.....should i get a jet kit, a pipe n what kind?, what tires should i get....i'd rele appreiciate if u would give me some advice thank u alot :D

UNI is a good filter. If you install a pipe and aftermarket air filter you will want to rejet your carburetor. You don't have to buy a jet kit to do that though. You can buy individual jets that are the same as the factory jets already in there, just different sizes.

Changing the front sprocket to one size smaller is a popular mod that will help with dragracing (but sacrifices top speed a little).

thanks alot buddy how much will change the front sprocket effect the top end i just wanna beat the kfx by a couple of lengths sine he chooses 2 not changing ne thing on he is.

It'll knock around 5 mph off your theoretical top speed.

a pipe wont make a diff in speed, it will only get u where u got to go faster. when ur bike is making more power it could handle taller gearing and that would increase ur top speed. going up one or two teeth on ur front sprocket is a good way to achieve this, but u'd have to get a pipe too

Yoshi is a good pipe.

I went with HMF after a lot of searching and can't complain about it. It does everything that I expected from it and sounds wicked.

do u notice ne difference with the pipe like in performance or ne thing.....i just want 2 make the right descion
