Low profile bending?

Ive heard some ppl say that the low profile maier fenders for the 300ex flap alot and cause them to bend up. Is this true? thanks

I'm not positive if it's the set you're talking about, but some Maier fenders flap like a friggen set of bird wings. Over time it causes little stress marks and maybe cracks.
