2005 or 2006 450R shocks

I have a 2004 400ex and I bought a set of Houser +2 regular travel a-arms. I am going to get a set of 450R shocks from E-Bay. I don't know if i should get a set from a 2005 or a 2006 450R. I heard that the 2006 shocks are stiffer than the 2005's. What year would be better for my set up and weight (210lbs) for trail riding. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

i would get either year and then send them off to get rebuilt to my ridin style and weight

It would be best to send them off and get them rebuilt, otherwise, it will slightly mess up the front end geometry of the bike. Of the two, go with the 05. You can usually get them cheaper, and they are already stiff as hell. I could not imagine 06 shocks on the EX.
