Kicker 1000W. Kicker makes the best amps, I would have reccomended it even if the subs weren't by them.

First, what impedence are they? Dual 2ohm or Dual 4 ohm

Second, are they in a vented or sealed box?

You could probably get away with a SX1250.1, but that may be more then you are wanting to spend and may be too much power if you arent careful. I powered my one L7 10 with 1000watts and all was fine thoug. Now I am under powering my Solo-X 12 with my single 1250.1 but have a KX2500.1 i need to hook up.

a ZX1000.1 would probably be better if you are on a budget.

A little more information could help though, like the 2 questions above and most importantly, how much do you want to spend. I assume you are on a bit of a budget since you got the L5's instead of the L7

If you want some name brand stuff try sounddomain.com, they have good prices and provide excellent service. I buy most of my stuff from them.

Kenwood makes a reasonably priced mono amp ($180 on amazon) that puts out between 900 and 1000 watts rms at 1 ohm. I don't know which impedence your subs are but if you tell us we could probably help you more.

If it was me, I would get the sx1250.1 or the zx1000.1... Just be careful setting up and don't turn the gain up too much. But since they are going to be in small sealed boxes they will be able to handle quite a bit.
