I have the Gen X scoop carbon fiber hood in Silver. It's pretty bad arse, my only complaint is that is makes the front look like a YFZ.

I don't have a carmera at the moment or I'd post pics.

If you order the one from quad tech, don't get in a hurry order mine they said it would take 2 weeks, that was 5 weeks ago and they said that it will be at least 2 more weeks.

Don't do a big bore, it's not worth it. The LTR systems are so complicated, if you start messing with serious things like displacement you're going to have problems.

There's better ways to gain power.

I even beat Dirtwheels!!!Bill from Quadtech hooked me up since I started asking about ti the day it came out. I agree it makes it look a little like a YFZ.

They come in all sorts of colors, with a scoop or without. Carbon fiber in black, silver & navy blue... and then they make the glitter ones like Dunk and Jeremy Rice run - they are available in silver called "ice", "chameleon" which looks different in different lights at differnt angles, multicolored glitters mixed and regular blue and red glitter.

what do they use to color these hoods? is it powdercoating or what? I like the looks of the gen x hoods... but would want mine my traditional sparkly pink color (what was on my cannondale) instead :D
