honestly, id suggest a nerf that usues no heel gaurds. I cant say that about the Rath units because i havent seen or heard about them breaking like almost ALL others. its not one brand, its a design issue IMO

What about the IMS peg and heel guards since they are seperate unlike the cheaper pro pegs, is this the design issue or what, also getting pegs welded on helps alot right?

I havent heard much negative about IMS. I would geuss that being bolted on heel gaurds would take some of the stress off the areas that seem to be most prone to cracking. Watch your width on some models with IMS...they tend to be WIDE! 50 inch wide nerfs do not work well in the woods :p

Rath makes the best nerfs in my opinion. I've got alot of hard hours on my 450 and haven't had a single complaint. I'm also running there heel guard/nets and they are great. On my 400 JB racing welded tubes to my frame and the AC pro pegs slid on and bolted right to the frame. I put 4 hard seasons on that frame and the nerfs outlasted two engines.
