400ex parts for the 300ex

One of my friends is wanting to build his 300ex he is on a pretty tight budget though. I have heard that there are some 400 ex parts to fit the 300. Like maybe the a-arms and shocks and also the carb. If anyone could help me out with these conversion parts or anything else for the 300 at a fairly low price that would be great. Thanks

yeah...the a-arms fit the 300ex....for the shocks ull have to get a relocator bracket....but i was told that the arms throw the geometry off completely....but im sure if you get everything correct....it all should work fine....for the carbuerator....im not sure

the carb will work. but on a stock motor, i would be careful. thats an awful lot of carb for it. but you could prob. still be ifne

The a arms and shocks will fit the 300ex, but you need a shock relocater. Search the subject and you will find all your answers.

It will bolt up but you hae to make a mount for the linkage.
