We have alot of Dewalt that I have been really impressed with, I really like the bosch 18 and 24 tools that have been on the market for a while now, unbelievable power

DeWalt for Cordless power tools.
For a Hammerdrill, its Hilti all the way. Second to none IMO.

im with mofo... hilti's a good hammer drill, but dewalt is still the best when it comes to power tools.

I use dewalt but I think I might start goin to milwaukee. I didn't put down hilti because they don't even compare to the brands I put down. My next drill will probaly be hilti, they are absolutely sick, but its 350 bucks!

My next tool is gonna be a cordless impact gun but I don't know what brand

I work in the trades and all I see on jobsites are 18v Milwaukees and Dewalts. Personally I use Dewalt because I like having 3 speeds on my drill. I would wait a while on the Li-Ion drills that Milwaukee and Makita make, let them get the bugs worked out. A guy at our shop literally caught two of the Milwaukee Li-Ion drills on fire and finally got fed up replacing them under warranty. He went back to their 18v line.

to the guy that was thinking of getting a cordless impact. I have the dewalt 12v impact modle. This thing has some balls. It will snap a 5/16 bolt off if you sit on it for a while. It is slick for tearing engines doun. I also use it for changing my fourwheeler wheels.

all we use is makita. My dad has his own construction business and has just about any makita tool possible and they never let us down. anybody see that new bosch drill that fits in a toolbelt, my brother got one, for how small it is, it works good, will sink in a 3in screw easy. and the makita impact drills are really nice, built in light that comes on every time u touch the trigger. My dad also just got a new makita 12in chop saw with the built in laser. its huge but really nice too

Craftsman for me .

Most all my tools are Craftsman ... you just gotta love their warranty . You break something , bring it back to Sears and they replace it with no questions asked .

consider youself lukcy, My craftsman drill burnt out the speed controler. Part cost as much as a new drill, no warentee. Goes to prove that I can smash anything.

A difrent time I was starting my ole snomobile with my delwat drill on the flywheel nut. Fried the motor in the drill after a while. drill was a good 3 years old.

i know it isn't much of a point to make, but i've used my craftsman cordless drill as a starter for me and my friends nitro RC cars since day one. that and i have built 2 houses with my bro-in-law and overall put the drill through hell.

i've also dropped it numerous times. the battery wont stay latched anymore, so i use ducttape. batterys crap out quick like most brands though.

12v impact gun scre that! id definetly go with an 18v for that. i plan on using it for changing tires and tightening my chain.

any1 use a hilti cordless drill :eek2:

ryobi, skil, black and decker, craftsman etc etc are junk! i cant believe 10 ppl voted for craftsman, they have good hand tools but power tools i dont think so, maybe for fixin the cabinet but industrial use no way
