Somebody's lying to you. I don't use a TRX kit, I prefer the ATC gasket kit and it should still be available.

Whats the difference between the ATC, and TRX gasket kits?

the ATC head gasket is a bit thinner...

I know most guys don't do this, but I still run a 34mm carb on mine, with an 86 intake boot, so I need the gasket that goes between the reed cage and this boot. Since honda supercedes the 86 TRX gasket set over to the newer (87-89) set, the only way to get this gasket in a set with out buying it separately is to get the ATC kit. And like Zed said, I also get the thinner head gasket.
