maier hood pics??

i just ordered a carbon fiber maier hood with the scoop and was wondering if anyone has pics... preferably a black one cause i have a red 450 but i broke the front plastics and am changing the front to red but all pics welcome thnx in advance...

beautiful how did it fit? just slip in quality seems to be good?

yah, it fit just like the stock one once the included hardware was put on

included hardwear? how was that to install? jw if im going to have any issues or pretty basic setup?

Did you have to drill holes to make it fit? if so would you still be able to put a stock headlight on it when your done?

with the scooped hood, you cannot use the headlight

and to install, you will have to drill 2 holes for the lower mounting point, and then there are new grommet screws for the upper portion

it was real easy to install, no problems at all, and it comes with instructions

well thats good then i just was abit skeptical about drilling holes dont want to wreck my scoops will i still be able to put the stock hood and lights on after i take the maier off?

yes, you can, you will just have to replace the maier hardware with the stock grommets
