hey guys i can trade my 426ex (mods in sig) for a 86' 250r. Description is: It has been totally restored to new condition it has a brand new motor not rebuilt, shocks, plastics. it has many after market parts. this bike is very fast and fun to ride. looks as good as it runs. the frame, a arms, and swing arm are all painted to match the bike. i will add an extra motor. i will also throw in alot of extra parts. i have 2 extra front tires on rims and 2 back tires on rims i will throw in with it also.

My question is how will this compare to my 426? I mostly ride woods and sand pits..

the R is faster and arguably an all around better quad. the real quesation is CAN you ride a 2-stroke or ARE you willing to learn.

if so go for it, if not dont bother. and if you have never ridden one before at all you may not like it... take it for a test drive, if you like it, do it.

I do it in a heartbeat if the quad is clean and runs great! You will learn to love the powerband of the R and the handling is much better than the 400ex. After riding the R for a while you will be much faster on it once you learn how to ride the powerband effectively!
