Well I have been thinking about it for a while now and I just cant wait any longer and save up for a front end. So im gonna go FLexx bars and A revalved, resprung rear shock with linkage.

My question in who is the best and what are the prices. This is for MX.

I looked on GT thunder and Derisi's websites but just got confused.

Please Help Me.

I have derisi's setup myself and love it, but it did take a while to get back since he was waiting on springs.

I had Norris Quinn of Quinn Motorsports do mine, when I had a rebuilt rear. It was dual rated, used Axis/Eibach springs. Had it set up with a GTT Link and it worked awesome!

If you guys could tell me what you paid for these set ups that would be awesome.

Off the top of my head is was right around 400 or so with the linkage/respring/revalve, don't quote me on that, but it was around there.

Check with Johnny at J-H Racing. I had my rear shock redone by him and it was a quick turn around and an awesome job. I already had the linkage and he did my dual rate and revalve for $250.

GT Thunder only charges $250 for the ravalve and the linkage combo. If you need a new spring then add on a $100. Awesome setup for the rear though.

any revalve you have done will be much better than stock. i prefer gt thunder. i've had several shocks done there and i've always been very happy with the results. he's quick and does very good work at an affordable price. bottom line i think is that there all pretty good it mostly just personal preference.

It was a dual rate setup not a single like GT uses that the reason for differance in spring prices.

People need to stop spouting about pricing and start looking at what you are getting for your money. The more new components a builder uses the more it is going to cost and the better your shocks will be.

Colby do you consider the parts that you guys at C and D use to be New? I am new to stock revalves and resprings. How much for a revalve, respring and linkage? Is your MX set up a dual rate? and whats the turn around time?

We use six new springs on the front along with new billet upper and lower spring retainer, billet crossovers and cross over rings. The rear shock gets two new springs, a new thread preload collar, billet crossover, and a new valve body that flows better than stock and allows us to gain 1'' more travel in the rear.

We charge $615 for the full setup installed and revalved.

The rear setup is $380. We do not use a linkage with our setup.

Will your shock revalve and respring work good with any linkages out?
