is there a big difference if so where at does it help, how much did it cost to have it done, and should u get a cam to?

most say yeah it makes a difference.....only after other mods like bigger bore, compression, cam, exhaust, intake, carb.....and the cost.....around here it about 400 bucks on a 400ex. could be more on another engine with more valves....

I had mine done when i did the 440 kit, I payed 350. I was told its highly recommended with any major engine mods.

i had it done when i got my 440 rebuilt it only cost me 200 canadian and it made a huge difference but i also have a cam and the big bore kit too so i dunno if it would make much difference on a stock 400 motor
