Hey, i'm new at this forum. I recently purchased a LT450R this past Saturday, and since then, i've added the cherry bomb, removed the exhaust baffle & air lid. Is there any other simple bolts that i can do to gain alittle power. This is the first ATV that i've ever owned and there's already several locals with Honda 450r's and Yamaha 700 Raptors that wants a piece of me. I just want to be ready.
Thanks
Corey

So, i take it that there's no K&N filter set up yet?

Trinity has a K&N setup for the LTR.

I saw that, i was just under the impression that it was not available yet. Do you think it will work with the stock pipe with the baffle out? It says to use with their stage 4 pipe. I'm just alittle confused about if the air filter kit will change the afr enough to the point where the computer will need programed.
Thanks for the responses,

Buy a Pro Design intake, and buy an HMF or DASA or Yoshimura pipe.
Cams too, if you really want to rip... and have a professional install them (only 2 horse).
Bone stock is 36 HP - with these above mods combo with your CB you'll be up to 52 HP. Those Hondas will run scared.

First quad? Do yourself a favor and learn to ride the thing first.

I appreciate the advice. I'm practicing little by little. I actually have a race lined up for this weekend against a Raptor 700. Hope i'll be ready for then. How does the K &N filter kit that Trinity offer work? Any HP gain?
