Where Do You Measure For Ama Regulations?

An ATV can only be 50inches wide for amam racing. from what point to what point do they measure, and how does the spreader bar work? I am setting up my quad for motocross and I was wondering, so that I don't make it too wide.

its measured by the outside of one tire to the outside of the other, the Spreader bar is just a bar with 2 sides to it and its 50 inches wide, and the quad has to be able to ride threw it

if you get +3 a-arms and 4-1 offset rims and a +4 axle you will be allset
