What do you think this thing is worth?

My buddy was hard up for cash and he had this 82/83 Honda ATC250R sitting around and I bought it for $250. Now this thing has an extended swing arm (unknown brand/length) drag style handle bars, no front brake and hand operated rear brake. The motor seems pretty fresh in it but the pipe is pretty hodge podge.

The motor fires up dead cold, no choke, first kick and idles perfect. I haven't taken it for a spin yet because I locked it up in my side yard and lost the god damned keys to the lock. Overall condition I would put at a 7 out of 10. The seat has a few knicks in it, the frame was recently painted too. Heres some pic of it.

Yeah all the plastics are cut up, obviously no headlight but the frame is flawless. I really have no use for this thing, it had crossed my mind to put her back to stock but I already have a TRX250R and I would rather have a Kawi T3 instead, just to be unique. I know it doesn't really appeal to the masses since its only purpose is to haul *** for 300 feet. I was going to put it on Ebay to get it out there. I also thought about parting it out, though it might appeal to more people that way.

I'll have to disagree with you there, just for the fact I have seen these aircoold motors, while not Honda's most desirable offering, still clear $300 in this shape. I would rather not part it out because I am lazy, but if means a couple hundred extra dollars, I'll do it.

id part it out...i think you would gain more money like that, if not then just ride it around for a good laugh from time to time

Mix the oil ratio to like 80:1 and hold it wfo in top gear.
